Sweet Softies

Who can resist this mini amigurumi ice cream cone?  Looks like Buru Buru dog can’t!  These little treats are fun to make, and the possibilities are endless with flavors and toppings!

Finished measurements: a little over 3 inches (8 cm)

Materials

• Yarn (brown for cone and a different color for ice cream)
• 3.50 mm crochet hook
• Fiberfill stuffing
• Optional: small amount of embroidery thread for facial features, black safety eyes

Cone
Using brown yarn…
R1: 5 sc in magic ring. (5 sts)
R2: 4 sc in first four, 2sc in last sc. (6 sts)
R3: *Sc 2, 2 sc in next sc*, rep 2 times. (8 sts)
R4: *Sc 3, 2 sc in next sc*, rep 2 times. (10 sts)
R5: *Sc 4, 2 sc in next sc*, rep 2 times. (12 sts)
R6: *Sc 5, 2 sc in next sc*, rep 2 times. (14 sts)
R7: *Sc 6, 2 sc in next sc*, rep 2 times. (16 sts)
R8: *Sc 7, 2 sc in next sc*, rep 2 times. (18 sts)
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Ice Cream
Using ice cream colored yarn (have fun with different flavors!)…
R1: 6 sc in magic ring. (6 sts)
R2: 2 sc in each sc around. (12 sts)
R3: *Sc 2, 2 sc in next sc*, rep 6 times. (18 sts)
R4-R7: Sc 18
R8: (Work in front loops only) *ss, 2 hdc in next st*, rep 6 times. (24 sts)
Fasten off.

Assembly
Stuff both halves and then sew together, going through the back loops on the last round of the ice cream.
